After reading Ulysses as a young girl, Aedín Moloney has spent close to 30 years developing and shaping her unique performance of The Penelope Chapter, from James Joyces' masterpiece. In 2002, renowned author and fellow Joyce enthusiast, Colum McCann, invited her to perform passages from Molly Blooms soliloquy at his annual Bloomsday celebration in New York City. With McCann's encouragement, she began work on an adaptation for the stage.

In 2017, Aedín released an audio performance of the unabridged text, "Reflections of Molly Bloom," with Wild Mountain Flower. The project was a collaboration between Aedín and her Father, Paddy Moloney (Musician, Composer, Founder and leader of The Chieftains). Both working together to introduce music into the performance, as a reflection of Mollys' subconscious.

In early 2019, McCann partnered with Aedín, to complete the stage adaptation.
"Yes! Reflections of Molly Bloom" was given its world premiere production in May of the same year by The Irish Repertory Theatre, directed by Kira Simring.
Aedin went on to win The Outer Critics Circle Award and
a nomination by The Off-Broadway Alliance for her solo performance.

In May 2020, Aedín created and directed an onscreen performance of the adaptation, once again for The Irish Repertory Theatre. The critically acclaimed piece was shot in Miami, where Moloney was sequestered during the Covid lockdown.

Following an invitation by The Centre Culturel Irlandais, Moloney headed to Paris in May of 2022, to give two sold out performances.  Afterwhich, she returned to The Irish Repertory Theatre for a new production, this time directed by John Keating.
